Located in the centre of the beautiful medieval town of Fordingbridge, Meadow View Cottage is the perfect location for a family winter get away or a summer holiday in the New Forest.  We offer family and pet friendly accommodation for up to six people with a private dog safe enclosed rear garden, covered private hot tub, patio with covered outdoor seating, summer house and rear garden lawn.

 

Fordingbridge is a small town that was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 under the name Forde located on the River Avon on the edge of the New Forest District of Hampshire and is close to Dorset and Wiltshire.  It’s a fantastic location to enjoy a holiday in the New Forest as well as being close to other interesting areas for days out: Salisbury (12 miles), Bournemouth (18) miles, Southampton (21 miles), Isle of Wight (35 miles), Winchester (28 miles) and Portsmouth (40 miles).

 

Fordingbridge offers a range of restaurants and pubs within walking distance of Meadow View Cottage.

Meadow View Cottage has been recently renovated with care to provide the perfect retreat while you explore the glorious New Forest.  The property sleeps up to six and is pet friendly.  Off road parking is available directly opposite the property,WIFI, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

 

The private, enclosed garden provides a large patio with comfortable sitting area, lawn, summer house, and hot tub so guests can relax indoors and outdoors.  The outside seating area is suitable for just relaxing or dining al fresco. 

 

An overhead canopy covers the patio sitting area so you can enjoy the garden whatever the weather.  The Summer House at the rear of the garden allows you to enjoy the last of the day’s sunshine in comfort.

Entrance provides a welcoming hallway with a separate WC and plenty of room for your shoes and coats.  Hallway leads into a spacious dining room providing seating for 6 with a view of the recently installed patio and private enclosed garden (guaranteed dog proof).  The garden includes a separate summer house, lawn, private hot tub with cover and patio which includes outdoor sofa and table with overhead canopy so you can enjoy al fresco dining if you prefer.
